The owner purchased a large property with a small thatch cottage. The site had several beautiful well-established trees. Once subdivision was approved, the thatch cottage was renovated and sold.

 

The new dwelling was designed to accommodate as many of the existing trees as possible. Access is via a panhandle, thus placing the entrance to the East of the dwelling.
